FydeOS

What is FydeOS ?

FydeOS is based on the open source project The Chromium Projects, which we have modified and optimised to offer a more flexible user experience for whoever wishes to use FydeOS as part of their solution as well as the end users. FydeOS is a Cloud-firstoperating system.

Like Chromium OS, FydeOS was born out of the belief that all the applications and services we use today will increasingly move to the cloud.

Like Chromium OS, FydeOS was built on the belief that modern applications and services are increasingly shifting to the cloud. (Note: Chrome OS is the operating system powering Google Chromebooks and Chromium OS is the open-source projects behind).

Important Note

FydeOS for SBC currently only supports 4GB or more RAM Raspberry Pi models (e.g., Raspberry Pi 4 4GB/8GB, Raspberry Pi 5, etc.). If you use a 2GB or lower configuration, the system will not boot properly.

Download the OS image using a desktop computer

write the image to a microSD card, you can use the Raspberry Pi Imager.
